Charlie Sheen Puts ‘Two And A Half Men’ On An Indefinite Halt

Charlie Sheen’s romps with the porn stars and loads of cocaine has forced CBS to halt its most sought after sitcom ‘Two and a Half Men’ for an indefinite period of time. It is reported that Charlie Sheen has decided to enter the rehab program and it is still undisclosed where the actor has decided to get rid of his habits.

But one thing is for sure that is the enjoyment that his loved ones felt last Thursday was short lived.  Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles released the troubled actor from the hospital and was diagnosed with hernia instead of the effects of living on substance that’s lighter than Jell-O for quite a few days. However, once the man was out, he preferred to have his romp with the multiple porn stars and “briefcase of cocaine”. The buzz is that there were so many porn stars with Charlie that Ron Jeremy Welcome Wagon Committee would have been put to shame.

So the decision to enter the rehab after completing the party and fun with the porn stars and going on the sets of ‘Two and a Half Men’ acting too tired from a very hard day’s labor, Sheen decided to enter the rehab. CBS has now issued an official statement that they support Charlie Sheen’s “voluntary” decision of entering the facility to get his act clean but they have to halt the production of the sitcom. It’s not yet known when they will start filming the new episodes of the show, which is on its Eighth Season.

Christian Bale stopped from doing own stunts in ‘The Fighter’

London, Jan 19 – Acclaimed British actor Christian Bale, who walked away with the Golden Globe award for best supporting actor, says he wanted to do his own stunts during the filming of his latest flick ‘The Fighter’ but was persuaded not to by insurance companies.

Bale, who plays former boxing champion turned crack-cocaine addict Dicky Eklund in the movie, insists that he was ready to perform his own stunts in the movie before being told that taking falls and tumbles was too risky, reports contactmusic.com.

Recalling one scene, the 36-year-old said he became upset after being told to step back so that a stuntman could dive through a window.

‘I just got up there and I went, ‘I’m jumping’… I’ve jumped from three-storey buildings in my own life after bad parties and stuff. The insurance came around… and they were just begging me not to,’ he said.

Preview Of ‘Hawaii Five-O’ Hit By Tsunami

The television screen will get an exploding experience on January 23 when the team of CBS’s ‘Hawaii Five-O’ will get to tackle the danger caused by tsunami alert on the beach. The show’s topic will be Tidal Wave and the actors will get a sudden tsunami alert on the beach to kick off the episode.

Certainly, the agents will take the responsibility of vacating the beach on their shoulder. The episode, which will be telecast after the ‘Sunday Football Match’, will not only bring to live one of the biggest natural disasters but also some action packed sequences on how can one save their life in an attempt to save oneself from it.

In all this action, a drama inside the Tsunami Warning Center will unfold where the head of the center will disappear and the team members will try to unearth him, before the disaster actually strikes.

Sneak peek into the episode tells us that the show will bring in Joel David Moore (of the Bones fame) and Michelle Borth again. People can get a taste of singer JoJo’s acting skills again in a short performance. Moore will play the role of Center’s deputy director.

So, after the football match, if you want to have your share of beach action, drama and love, with some beautiful women around, tune in to ‘Hawaii Five-O’!

Twilight And Harry Potter Debate Heats Up In ‘The Apparition’

Are you a Twihard or a Harry Potter enthusiast? Love the evil powers of Draco Malfoy (played by Tom Felton in Harry Potter series) and the helping gestures of Alice Cullen (played by Ashley Green in Twilight series)? Well, the actors who play these characters also love their biggest Hollywood projects and thus fight on it, verbally, not literally!

Ashley and Tom are working in the upcoming supernatural thriller, The Apparition. In a media interaction recently, Tom joked that he and Ashley keep debating on which one of the two is a better movie, whose fans are larger and who among the two heroes – Harry and Edward Cullen – will win the battle, if there is one! The magical antagonist of Harry Potter series, was, of course, kidding us!

We know that both the super hit film series have a religious fan following. And a high number of their fans would be counted in both the fan lists! So a war, is not possible. Ashley on her part, said that she and Tom felt great to have had been a part of those ventures, and that’s it!

Guess they have their next movie to concentrate on, instead of fighting over which past venture was larger! From now on, the fans can get a glimpse of their two favourite characters in just one movie… The Apparition!

Jennifer Aniston found Rachel haircut ugly!

London, Jan 19 – Former ‘Friends’ star Jennifer Aniston has revealed she found her character Rachel’s fluffy haircut ‘ugly’.

The 41-year-old made the Rachel haircut, a bouffant-style layered cut done by friend Chris McMillan in 1994, famous during her time on the US sitcom, but believes it was not her most stylish look, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

‘I love Chris but he’s the bane of my existence because he started that damn ‘Rachel’, which was not my best look. How do I say this? I think it was the ugliest haircut I’ve ever seen,’ she said.

The blonde beauty confessed she has since got better at styling her own hair, and now will blow-dry her locks herself instead of letting Chris do it for her.

‘He thinks I’m a closet hairdresser. I’ll take the hairdryer right out of his hands. He’ll kill me for saying this, but I’ve surpassed him in that department. I’m faster with the blow-dryer,’ she said.

Rihanna Is Rick Ross’s “Baddest Woman”

Rapper Rick Ross has divulged his feelings on fellow singers Rihanna and Katy Perry in an upcoming song that was played on the Power 105.1 channel this Tuesday morning. Taking the cue on the early morning show ‘The Breakfast Club’, Rick Ross spoke his heart out on Rihanna and Katy Perry, albeit via his latest song! While Katy Perry is his “Bugatti coupe” in the latest single of Rick Ross titled ‘Mad Men’, the rapper describes Rihanna as the “baddest woman” that he has ever come across! The single ‘Mad Men’ is part of the ‘God Forgives, I Don’t’ album that has just been released by Rick Ross.

In a statement given to the media, Rick Ross says that he had intended the ‘Mad Men’ single to be part of his earlier released album ‘Ashes to Ashes’, but reconsidered his decision at the last moment, when he decided to save the song for a later composition that will soon hit stands as ‘God Forgives, I Don’t’. Apart from Katy Perry and Rihanna, singers Wiz Khalifa, Madonna and Drizzy also get special mention in the song ‘Mad Men’. While Madonna is described as “white”, Wiz Khalifa are his “favorite berries” in the song!

Apart from ‘God Forgives, I Don’t’ , Rick Ross also has a project with Wale and Meek Mill lined up. Though no formal announcement has been made as of yet, the rapper hopes to be able to divulge details on the project very soon.

‘Band Baaja’ success gets Anushka entry in ‘Patiala House’ poster

Anushka Sharma couldn’t have asked for more. The petite actress, who was missing from the first poster of her next outing ‘Patiala House’, has now managed to get into a new one, thanks to the success of her last outing ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’.

A movie about father-son relationship, ‘Patiala House’ stars Akhsay Kumar in the male lead with Rishi Kapoor in a pivotal role. The movie has been inspired by England cricket team’s first Sikh player Monty Panesar, where Akshay has been shown as a British citizen who sacrifices his dream of being a pace bowler for his autocratic father’s ideals.

‘The filmmakers wanted to portray the same in their first key art poster for their audiences. So they finalized that the poster will feature Rishi Kapoor and Akshay Kumar in order to give an insight about the film and the relationship they share. The poster was all set to be launched but then ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ released and saw a huge success,’ said a statement from the film’s publicist.

‘So after the success of ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’, the makers of ‘Patiala House’ wanted to feature Anushka in the poster as well,’ it further read.

Director Nikhil Advani also echoed the same.

‘Anushka is a great actress and we are happy that she is part of ‘Patiala House’. She has proved her talent and charm in her recent hit as well… we were always planning on multiple posters which are out for the audiences,’ said Advani.

The movie hits the screens Feb 11.

Eating disorder rumours damaged Flockhart’s career

London, Jan 5 – Actress Calista Flockhart admits that eating disorder rumours plagued her career and sent her into depression.

Flockhart shot to stardom in the late 1990s playing a ditzy lawyer in hit TV show ‘Ally McBeal’, but her super-slender figure made her the target of gossips that she suffers from eating disorder and the actress admits that the rumours forced her to almost quit acting, reports contactmusic.com.

‘I still weigh exactly what I did back then. I’ve always been thin. I have small bones. It (rumours of an eating disorder) was horrible, completely out of control,’ she said.

‘It didn’t matter what I did, if I ordered food or not… I tried to ignore it, but I’m sure it was damaging to my career. I became depressed. I thought, ‘Well, this can’t help me get a job’ – nobody wants to hire someone who has a problem,’ she added.

I’m nuts, says Justin Bieber

London, Jan 5 – Teen sensation Justin Bieber suffers from insomnia and feels he thinks a lot. But he also believes that it could be a sign he is a good musician.

‘I’m crazy, I’m nuts. Just the way my brain works. I’m not normal. I think differently – my mind is always racing. I’m just…nuts. But I think the best musicians probably are,’ Bieber has been quoted as saying by contactmusic.com.

‘I just turn over all night and think. My mind races. I think about all the things I didn’t have time to think about during the day – like family and god and things that should be more important but you don’t have time to think about, because you just get caught up in everything else during the day,’ he added.

Lady Gaga Teams Up With Polaroid, Launching A New Range

Lady Gaga is an artist who doesn’t believe in taking things slow, so this 2011 the singer has planned to venture out and do something new. She is joining hands with the Polaroid instant cameras to bring out a new range of fast-selling, fashionable products that would help in reviving the brand.

In 2008, the production of the famed photography company halted and the bosses have come up with the idea to work with the ‘Paparazzi’ singer to get the much needed boost for selling of its products. The new line that company is planning to launch later this month is called, ‘Polaroid Grey Label’.

The details about the new line to be launched in collaboration with Lady Gaga and Polaroid will be made on January 6th, Thursday at the Las Vegas’ Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2011 at 3:30 p.m. PST.  The website of the popular but struggling classic camera company said on its website that these two influential icons of the different industry will make it huge together. Price, Reid jet off to Indian Ocean to save marriage

London, Jan 3 – Former model Katie Price and husband Alex Reid jetted off to a romantic holiday destination in the Indian Ocean in a bid to save their marriage.

‘It is no exaggeration to say that the marriage is in crisis. They needed some time on their own without any distractions to talk and see if they have something worth saving. London, Jan 2 – Actress Hilary Swank is surprised by the fame she has got and says she finds it odd to think that she is a Hollywood star.

The Oscar winner said she couldn’t believe herself when she was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2007.

London, Jan 2 – It seems actress Kate Winslet has found a new love interest after splitting from Burberry model Louis Dowler.

She was recently spotted enjoying a three-hour lunch with a mystery man at an exclusive London restaurant Scott’s, reports contactmusic.com.

‘Kate enjoyed oysters and a chocolate fondant dessert – she was eating the food of love,’ said an onlooker. ‘She looked very content. They were chatting for hours. She was in fits of giggles at one stage and then later they looked very serious together.’

‘It seemed they were having an in-depth discussion and she clasped his hands over the table. When Kate finally paid the bill, it was getting dark,’ the onlooker added.

Winslet had reportedly started dating Dowler after separating from her husband, director Sam Mendes, in March. She split from the model in November saying she needed some time alone.

Taylor Lautner didn’t expect ‘Twilight’ success

London, Jan 2 – ‘Twilight’ star Taylor Lautner says he was clueless about the success of the vampire saga and says the fame and attention he has received came as a huge surprise.

The 18-year-old, who plays werewolf Jacob Black in the franchise, said: ‘I just met the director and had no idea what I was getting myself into.’

The teenage star insists he has no regrets about any of his time in the movie series and is delighted with how his career is panning out, reports imdb.com.

Taylor, who is expected to make over $25 million for the last part ‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’, which will be split into two movies, also praised his family for keeping him grounded.

Christina Aguilera introduces her new man to son on family day out

London, Jan 1 – It looks like singer Christina Aguilera and her new man are serious about their relationship after she introduced him to her son Max on a family day out.

Aguilera, 30, was spotted enjoying a day out with her two-year-old son Max and new boyfriend Matthew Rutler, the Daily Mail reported.

The trio enjoyed some quality family time together at The Petersen Automotive Museum, and her son and beau seemed to have hit it off as they smiled and joked while making their way home.

The singer ditched her trademark raunchy outfits for a comfortable puffa jacket, a skull and cross print tee, black jeans and studded biker boots, topped off with a black and white peaked cap.

She also appeared to have abandoned her characteristic heavy make-up even ditching her signature bright red lipstick, opting instead for a cosmetics-free look.

Big B visits ail Shammiji, Shashiji in hospital

Both the Kapoor brothers, Shammi Kapoor and Shashi Kapoor were admitted in two different hospitals due to age related disease. Shammi Kapoor who is suffering from kidney related disease is admitted to Breach Candy hospital and Shashi Kapoor is recovering at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Amitabh Bachchan who delivered blockbusters like Shaan, Suhaag, Deewar, Imaan Dharam, Trishul etc with Shammi Kapoor paid a visit to both the Kapoor scions.
Big B tweeted after visiting both of them, "went to visit Shashi Kapoor in hospital and pained to see him in such condition...prayers for him please."
He also mentioned about the visit to Shammi Kapoor on his blog as he wrote, "I have been to visit Shammi Kapoor in hospital. He is unwell, in a different hospital. He was his most charming self as always and joked and laughed over his condition."
We wish speedy recovery to both the veteran actors.
